As outlined in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , Air France will retire the last of its 747-400 fleet next month, bringing to an end a 45 year run for the type with France’s flag carrier.
Air France had operated every 747 variant except for the SP, but opted not to purchase the latest -8i in favor of the 777 and Airbus A380.

The A380 looks pretty ungainly IMO. Shame to see her go.
